Best way to go to a specific post on TFS?

May I ask how I can go to a specific post number on a thread? I understand that the post number appears on the upper right corner of the post, and if you click on the post number, a new window would appear with this specific post only. If I want to comeback to this post, I could save the URL of this post.

However, the URL of the post typically appears as follows:

The link below will take you to the #1 post on "TFS is Not Working Properly for me ... Read Post #1, please."
http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4630431&postcount=1

The link below will take you to the #100 post on "TFS is Not Working Properly for me ... Read Post #1, please."
http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4441349&postcount=100

However, I am trying to find an optimal way to go from post #1 to post #100. Since the number in red in the URL tends to change from post to post, what's the best way of doing that?

Thanks in Advance!

One of the moderators took it into the mod team to see if any of us know a way to do this ... but honestly, I don't think there is a way. I've never found it. And it's not listed in the advanced search options at all. Be aware that as we delete posts and move them around, the actual post number will change and I also think that the changing number has to do with the order it is posted ... comparring all posts in all forums. So it's a fluctuating number that does not really make sense withing the thread.and it's probably not intended to be searchable.

There is only thing that even comes close to being able to find a certain post by the post number in a thread. You may set the number of posts that show up on each page for you in your UserCP. And then, you'd also need to change your display to "linear ... oldest first" to be able to get to any specific number post using some calculations. For example, if you know that you have set it to show 20 posts on a page and it's set up to show the oldest posts first .... and you want to go to post #100 of that thread you know it will be the last post on page 5. Post # 132 would be on page 7, about 12 down.

That's a bit time consuming and it's hard to read the forums this way, I think ... so that is not a good option. But it's all I can think of to offer you.

None of the moderators have responded to this question ...so it seems that there is not a way to do this. Sorry.
