model_mom, we can argue as long as you want about the actual topic, but once again, what is the point of arguing about whether or not we should question the rules? I'm going to do it anyway. All i said was, your post is ridiculous because it was obviously about me and i don't break the rules.
shall we discuss the actual topic of the thread now?
Don't need to be rude at model_mom, justin, if there's someone in this forum with enough experience (AND patience), that is her and you calling her post ridiculous is completely unnecessary and to be honest, very ignorant since you evidently haven't even explained ... saying everything is unreasonable without a single and extensive explanation doesnt make you look any smart, quite the opposite if you think about it. so seriously, if you want people to elaborate extensively for your own delight, why don't you actually make the effort and push the subject you seem so passionate about instead of offending so suddenly when it's not going in your favorite direction..
and yes, I'm now very interested to hear what you have to say about our drug policy, an explanation worth of your age, not a one-word tag on it, please.
and for the record, you dont have a warning because yes, you dont break the rules simply because you dont ever join discussions or have something meaningful to say other than fuel the fire when there's ever been an argument between strangers. that's it.
and Jjohnson, read the title of the thread, please.

... tFS policy regarding DRUG Threads.
Due to the simple fact that we do have underage members, it has come to our attention that we cannot actively discuss "drug use" on tFS. There is no need for it. Therefore I ask that new threads are not started with regards to drug use, including celebrates/models/musicians that are photographed using drugs.
All threads and posts that are related to this subject matter will be removed and members will be contacted with a warning. Members that fail to co-operate with this request will be banned from tFS....
Again - highlighting key words.
I don't think anyone here denies that drugs are intrepid in the fashion world. However, that is reasoning that comes up as an argument here often and I personally find baseless at tFS. The discussion surrounding drugs that surfaces here has absolutley nothing to do with fashion and it's influences but with the personal lives and choices of the individual model/celeb/singer. We simply do not feel that sort of discussion has a place at tFS. Plain, simple, easy to follow and not up for debate.
i'm not contributing anything new here, but i find talking about heroin (and every other drug) far less interesting than the latest collections or my favourite models. there's just no point to it (in my mind at least)..
^ True, but I think this has to be a definite rule here, with NO EXCEPTIONS, not even in usernames. I think it is a good idea to discuss about the rules.
LOL, about the "porn" thing, I kind of consider a 16 year old Leah De Wavrin, complete with pierced nipples making out with another girl more porn-ish than high fashion. Just a question, but what are the rules regarding things of that nature? Such as girls under the age of 18 nude?

Entirely legal unless the images are considered to be pornographic. TFS rules don't mention anything about the age of consent (or didn't when I last read them).

I really, really do not agree, but this isn't a place for that talk, so it can go somewhere else, we don't live here.... (or do we )

1st, shouldn't it be better to talk about weight, cos gir;s are really obssesed with it and it has become a global issue???
and 2nd, i do not think we should talk about drugs, but if someone post an article that has sth to so with some celebs and drug, why is it such a big deal just to poat an opinion?

1. There are currently two threads in TFS exclusively dedicated to weight, one is for discussing the zero size debate as a social phenomenon (or whatever you want call it) and the other (placed in Rumour Has It) is to discuss specific people's weight, modeling industry cases, etc.
2. that's a pretty good question, it's a bit more complex to explain but I'll try here: for a long period of time we dealt with drug-related topics and articles, it became increasingly hard to handle and more than just being some sort of obstacle for an easy run (which is not, really).. to discuss it obviously means to have people who agree and disagree with the stated points.. which, as I assume we've all witnessed, always leads to personal cases, arguments about secondary effects, different types of drugs and naturally, a more meticulous talk that goes from medical treatments to just plain support for whatever lifestyle is suggested.
While drugs definitely have a paramount role not necessarily in the fashion industry but in society as a whole, I believe it becomes rather dangerous for a fashion-oriented public forum to allow it so carelessly without taking into consideration that there are very young people browsing the site, and, in my very personal opinion, to be called a fashion forum but have threads dedicated on dieting pills, depression treatment, amphetamines, people who inhale this or that, etc.. it is a promoting act at some degree and again, it's not just a random personal case or outlook kind of chat, it's a very risky field that a forum with over 60,000 members simply cannot take responsability for and can certainly survive without it since that was not the reason why the community was created.
one more thing I'd like to add is that, censorship on certain topics must be equal for everyone.. it does look kind of comical to remove a post simply because there was the word "crack" or "heroin" in it but as harmless as one simple insinuation can be at times, you cannot go around removing drug threads saying drug talk is not allowed and then go to the next area and see sporadic drug talk here and leave it there because it's not heading for disaster or it's really insignificant.. as annoying as it can be to see one's post removed.. often times it's just intended to be a fair interpretation of rules.
I hope I'm being somewhat clear, by the way.

In anticipation of people complaining that the rules are not enforced equally for everyone because they saw a drug reference in thread x that was not removed, please understand that we are doing the best we can and you can always use the report post function if you feel we have missed something.
