A while back I had problems trying to upload scans and I never got to do them so perhaps its a scanning thing.

I do the same thing! I even have a little system. Every 10 images, I copy and paste a new one, like I'll take "dior2" and copy and paste it so I just have to type one #, like "dior21", "dior22", etc.

i've noticed that when i view an image on imagevenue, a lot of the times there are porno links at the top of the page. i know a lot of people on thefashionspot use imagevenue. is there a better site with mulitple photo upload at once that we can all use instead? just to keep things clean

It's great that you mentioned this! I suggest Photobucket as well, though it does resize large images.

Imageshack has multiple image uploads. http://www.imageshack.us/

Try that out for a bit.

If you use firefox, I highly recommend the imageshack toolbar With it you can right click on images and upload them (so no more having to save an image to your computer if you don't want to and you avoid hotlinking which is bandwidth theft). You can also upload multiple images, drag and drop images into the reply box, take screenshots that automatically upload the image to imageshack, etc. It's an awesome little toolbar and if you don't want to see it all the time, you can easily close it when it's not in use

^I've been posting plenty of HQs and they haven't been resized. I'm guessing that perhaps they're resized if they're over the 1.5 MB limit? There are plenty of HQs that are smaller than that which is why I haven't had much of a problem recently I guess. As for being, jpeg-ed, most of the pics are already in jpeg format so that's not really an issue. But I've used imageshack for png files and they haven't been jpeg-ed. *shrugs*

I try to avoid using imagevenue at all costs. Aside from the porno links, I ended up with three viruses in a single week after opening three of their files And I'm sure it was coming from them as I would open the file, my computer would slow down significantly for several minutes, and then my virus protection would alert me to the problem. I actually think whatever was causing it (I assume one of the ads) has been taken care of as it hasn't happened to me again since that one week, but I'm still annoyed about it and refuse to use them if I don't have to

another alternative I guess is allyoucanupload. It lets you upload three at a time, and it doesn't resize.
