Will you provide us links to each thread, please? and then we'll take a look at these.

Stylist and Fashion Editor are almost the same ... but not identical. Stylist ususally refers to freelance stylists who work for many different gigs and is not an employee of any particular magazine or company. Fashion Editor is applicable when that person works for only one magazine (at a time) ... a salaried job. So we'll take a look at that too.

I've corrected the titles, but there are some that I'm not sure about...
Karl Templer - only exclusive in the US (Interview), but styles ad campaigns and for European mags.
Suzy Menkes - I don't know if the first article is accurate, but states that she's a fashion editor and critic, so I wrote both.

Polly Mellen should be Polly Allen Mellen & I'm not quite sure exactly what her title should be... she was an editor at both Harper's Bazaar & Vogue... and after that she was Creative Director of Allure from 1991 to 1999. She was & still is much much more than a stylist... and even though she's retired from Conde Nast... she still consultes on various projects.
