Posting Pictures from my Computer ... Using the Attachments feature

I just realized that you were not talking about your own computer, but the virtual buttons in the manage attachements link. Right now that function is not working properly, so it's been reported to Tech Support. Hopefully they will figure out the problem and get it fixed.

In the meantime, you can upload your pictures to an image hosting site and then download them here by copying the URL the hosting site gives you and pasting it here in the picture link (it looks like a tiny photo) in the top of the Reply window.

If you post pictures from your computer as attachments and you delete the said pictures from your picture folder would it also delete the said picture you posted here?

Hi smartarse...when you upload images to tFS from your computer they are given a specific URL...so if you later delete the same images from your computer they will not also be deleted here.

I hope that explains it better!

^ i go to browse... then the link uploads the photo in the browse window thingy. i dont recall a URL.

anyhoo, i think i figured it out. it won't delete the photo n tfs if i delete the pix from the pic folder.

MMA is correct. Once it is in your attachment folder here ... it stays here because we are hosting it for you ... whether or not you delete it from your other hosting site or your computer. But if you are hotlinking to your other site, then it will dissappear here, if you delete from your other site.

I cannot find the manage attachments area? How do I add a pic from my computer and not a link in the insert image area?

the attachment area is s button below the text field - click it and a window were you can attach pictures will pop up.
