i have a dell but i cant find "Print Screen" i can only find "Print"
Somewhere in the upper right corner of your keyboard, near the "Insert", "Home" and/or "Pause" keys, you should find one that's labelled "Print Screen" or "Prt Scr" or something similar.
You may have to do Ctrl-Prt Scr or Alt-Prt Scr depending on your computer, check your manual or check Dell on-line.
Once you get the Capture, open MS Paint ( all machines with Windows have it, usually at Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Paint ), then paste the capture there. Save it with a file name using a .jpg extension (File >> Save As) so you can find it on your PC, then upload it to tFS using the attachments feature.

That is weird ... not sure if it's us ... or a problem with your computer. It sure doesn't look like that on my screen. I get a scroll bar on the side ... and the bottom links ... are at the bottom, below the article ... where they belong.
^ My screen does not look like RedRuby's when I click that particular link. However, I've found that the links in the Flash box (at the top of the tFS screen, leading to articles) occasionally redirect me to the front page of tFS, rather than the article itself.
Does it clear up after a while ... or is just certain articles that always have this problem? I'm thinking that when they put the new article up, they forget to add the link.
I have some problems with invitations- I've sent some lately (a week ago?) and they are still 'pending'
Before you do that, ask the people you invited to see if they got the email from the Fashion Spot. They must go to the link and register there ... if they don't the invite stays in pending and they will get a reminder invite. Eventually, if they don't respond, it will expire.
A lot of spam filters delete our invitation emails ... so they should look in their spam file and if it's just not there, they should make sure the we are on the allowed list. Hanne just posted an instruction how to do this on hotlink, I think ... not sure ... but she may have pinned it to the top in this forum ... or it's probably on the first page... it was just yesterday. But using that information about our email addy, you can probably fix this in your own spam filter, if it's not the same as the one Hanne posted about.
Then, once our emails can be received, go back into your invitations, delete each one that was not received and then send it again ... and let the invitee know that it's coming so they can look for it. The emails go out almost right away ... should not be a delay of more than a few minutes, at most.

Thank you! I'm actually in touch with those people and as far as I know they didn't get invitation e-mails at all. So I'll try to delete those invitations and send them again
I went to Display Modes, where you can choose Linear Mode/Hybrid Mode and chose Hybrid. Now I can't change back, it just keeps me in Hybrid Mode. It's changed the way I see threads, such as, I can't just jump to the last page anymore, I have to open the thread first and then select last
You are set for Linear-Oldest First ... is that what you want now? If it is, try refreshing your computer ... and then try signing out and back in to tFS. If that does not work ... use the Contact Us link (bottom of every page) for to submit a Tech Support ticket and explain your problem .... someone there will take a look at it.
I was wondering who does the upkeeping on this site because for me when i go to any page it takes at least 9-10 seconds to load it may seem like thats not a lot but it is when your going page to page and have to just sit there for the page to load. I don't have this problem at any other site or forums. As you can see from my post count i don't come as often as i would like to because once i do and i start going to pages it just takes too long and i get so frustrated waiting that i just leave the site
It's not my computer or connect as i have a T1
can someone help or upkeep this site better?
TIA

Some threads take extra time to upload, because a member or two forgot about our rule that no image should be wider than 800 pixels. When they post a bunch of high res pictures in a row, it slows it down for everyone. The site functions well, if that is not happening.
That is probably what is happening to you, if you frequent some of the more popular threads that are full of images ... often in Star Style and Supporting Cast.
So ... You can look at the posts on any page that is so slow and if the pictures are too large, you may report them and we can delete them. To determine if it is too large, there will be a bar at the top, if the system had to downsize them and it will say in the bar the actual width and height of the image. So if it's wider (not taller) than 800, just click on the Report Post feature and tell us what's wrong and a mod will step in and see if they can help.
My karma points havent increased in atleast a month now, when I have received quite a lot of karma (atleast 30). Is there any way to sort this out? Thanks!
