Ok, so I've never done any of the "As Seen On TV" stuff, but the Pedegg intrigues me. My least favorite maintainance activity is my feet...ugh the pumice stuff takes forever......this thing looks pretty quick and easy and not dangerous like razors (which some scary salons use and are illegal in some states). Has anyone tried one of these things?

A what? Can you describe please? It sounds intriguing.

Its basically a foot file, and collects the skin shaving in a compartment you can just dump out. Looks much cleaner and neater than an ordinary foot file at the least. And looks much easier too.
Ha! I saw this too over the weekend on tv and it intrigued me, but also grossed me out when all of the dead skin was dumped out! It was so cheap, I think that I may give it a try!

i've never heard about this instrument before but i thing it's a kind of shaver for your skin and as far as i know one should never cut the horny skin off one's feet as it will grow again thicker and faster.
It doesn't 'grow' back thicker, etc. it's usually just dead skin that has built up. It's perfectly safe to file it off or use a 'scraper' thing that some pedicurists use as long as they sanitize their equipment. It's really the only way to get it off. I find a regular foot file works just as well or to be honest wearing socks. My feet only get rough in the summer when i'm wearing flip flops constantly. As soon as winter comes and I wear socks or closed shoes my feet return to normal
I was intrigued, too. If I weren't suppossed to have "horny" feet, I'd try it in a second. But I'm in a bit of an odd postion as a dancer: I have to have bad feet, they make it easier to move barefoot. So I'm condemned to ugly feet.... I'm still interested in how the product works, though.
