Herbal tea for soothing skin

Apart from Green and white tea, which i've been drinking religiously has anybody tried other herbal tea? I've heard rose bud tea and apple flower are good for releasing heat from your body, i've only tried the rose bud tea and it tasted lovely with great rosy smell ! Anyone ?

Not so much herbal but I really like drinking lemon juice with hot water. It's supposed to be cleansing and be a bit of a detox, which can't be bad for your skin.

I tried Lotus-tea a couple days ago. It tasted quite bad actually.

I think I might try that hot water with lemon. I read somewhere that Rihanna drinks this in the morning (it's Rihanna, so take it for whatever it's worth). I'm sure it must be good for you, hopefully it will help my skin a little.

Yeah, warm water and lemon is a form of every day detox, but to drink that 1st thing in the morning i would think it makes your belly abit sour ?

I drink white and green tea everyday and theyre fantastic but I also do that hot water and lemon in the morning thing and its actualy really good but I think its more of a day to day thing. When I drink it i feel it helps my skin and gives me a bit of a flushed/blushing look its nice

I tried some of the *herbal teas* (I use this term loosely) we have at work and . I can't remember what they were but they've put the fear into me.

So I stick with white tea with a little slice of lemon ... yum

Rooibos. To drink it and also to wash your face in it when it is luke-warm. It tastes like a sweet weak black tea. It's wonderful for the skin

^I second rooibos. I got a gift one Christmas, a tin of tea from Teavana. It was Red Rooibos mixed with Mango Green Tea. The smell it released in hot water was incredibly good. I used it to rinse my hair with after I took a shower; it gave my hair an amazing flowery-fruity scent. Way more natural than scented shampoo.
