Citizens of Humanity - Sizing?

Hiya, I'm want to splash out on a pair of great jeans, but I want to get them over the internet on an American site. I can't find nice ones in UK!

I'm not sure what size to get though, i'm a UK size 12, which I think is a US 8 (?) are COH true to the size or do they come up big/small?

Get one size smaller (or even 2 if you want that extra snug, tight fit) than what you normally wear. They always run big.

You should probably get a size 28/29. Be careful if ordering from the UK - you may be charged hefy duty and tax charges on delivery, sometimes up to 50% of the value of the clothes.

I think it varies by style. The Ingrids are true to size while the Faye run big.

I'm a COH whore and have yet to meet a pair that ran true to size. Oh they make me look amazing alright, but they always run 1-2 sizes big.

Not really a question about size, but about fit.

I bought a pair of COH jeans when I was in Washington DC in November, and I love them. I'd like to get another pair online, but I'm sure they are not all the same cut. I have problems finding well fitting jeans, so it's important they are the same cut.

The tag on the inside of my jeans says Cut# 5280 Style#010-132. Does that correspond to any of the style names discussed here previously?

Ok, now I feel foolish , but I never noticed that there is a tag in the back that has the name of the style. Mine are "Cadet". They look like this: http://www.nationaljeancompany.com/p...s_price=&s_lev

This is called a "novelty" style. Probably because of the red buttons.
Since they have the same little dart seams above the pockets as the Faye style, I'm wondering if maybe they are the same cut?

My first pair of CoHs were Ingrids and I bought them in a size 27 (my usual size), and found that they stretched a bit, especially at the waist.

My next two CoH purchases were the Kelly Bootcuts in Big Sur and Alcatraz and I ended up buying them in 27 anyway and I found that they fit much better, although slightly bigger. However, I don't think I would have gotten them in 26. Anyway, I've filled them out eventually so it all worked for the best
