Gift Ideas needed!!!

Need a gift, TODAY. Arounds $50 for a fashion conscious, but not too discerning person. My first choice is a Sephora gift certificate, but ideally I would want to get something more personal. HELP.

Faust, a few suggestions...

Cashmere socks + some nice chocolate

A $50 savings bond (I know, I know)

Concert tickets (who's coming to town?)

Candle - Diptique - excellent suggestion

A little somethin' from La Perle

Female. I thought of the spa-like gifts, but they seem so ephemeral.

Got to admit I had to look that up Thanks for the word of the day, Faust

Makes sense... I'll continue to rack the brain and keep 'em coming.

I also 2nd the book idea. I love getting something special like that especially if the giver inscribes it...

Shop bonsavon.com or http://www.bigelowchemists.com?
How about a nice food item from Williams Sonoma?
Books?! Books on Fashion?! Art?
Tea? (I once gave a nice tin of tea, tea strainer spoon and tea cup under $50!)
Nice photo album from http://www.jennibick.com/ perhaps.
How about a potted plant?

Well, I bought a perfect gift. I went to the Comme des Garcons boutique today and there was this beautiful pair of knit leggins/arm warmers by Junya Watanabe, so I bought them.... but then Mrs. Faust saw them and appropritated them So now I need another gift

thought i'd bump this thread...
i feel like we need a general gift ideas thread?....
i'm always on the lookout for unique, creative gifts...

eg- my little cousin had a bday a few weeks ago...
she's 12 yrs old and has EVERYTHING...
cell phones, video games, clothes, makeup- you name it...

she loves animals....so i did some research and found out you can 'adopt' a wild endangered animal for $50 and all the money goes to protecting the species-
they sent her an entire package with all kinds of goodies...the name of her animal (i chose a bengal tiger), its age/weight/etc, pictures of the animal, info on the species and the part of the world it lives in.... i was a bit worried that she would be disappointed about not getting a material 'thing' but she was delighted !
she told all her friends she is the mummy of a bengal tiger . .

does anyone know of similar creative gift ideas?....
they can be 'things'....but i like something unique....not what everyone else is going to be buying...
i have an 18 yr old boy who loves music to buy for next....
i googled creative gift ideas and got all sorts of silly sites about gift baskets with wine and cheese, and personalised key chains-um.....since when is that CREATIVE....

help....!!!
