how often do you wash your jeans?

just curious how often people wash their jeans after "normal/regular" use?

do you also wash rigid denims less than you would a softer pair? treat darker washes different than lighter ones?

Do you add corn starch, sugar, etc. to the washer?

i wash them after every wear. plus i flip them inside out to prolong the wash of the jeans

I only wash mine when they are obviously dirty, like a stain or something, or when I haven't washed them in a really long time. When I do wash them, I just wash them with the other dark clothes, as in cold water and two caps full of detergent.


Keep in mind, though, I am not a memeber of the working force quite yet, so I really just use/do whatever my mommy supplies.

i tend to wash mine whenever they dont fit as i want them to fit like when they sag too much

I wash them normally inside out and with fabric softner , but i wash everything with fabric softner

I tend to buy jeans a bit snug so I don't have to wash them as much. Raw Denim I never wash...of course...more rigid denim I only wash when there is visible dirt present, and washed denim I was like once a month unless I get something on them. I wash my jean's Inside out as well to prolong lifespan.

I wash my jeans approximately 1-2 times a semester.

Once every 2-3 wears... depends on how dirty. I also only wash them in cold water, hang them to dry, and fluff them in the dryer the next day on the air cycle with a dryer sheet. I've got it down to a science, but I figure if I'm going to buy $100+ designer jeans, I'm going to make them last.

wow... mine's get washed after every 2 - 3 wears, that seems a lot compared to some of you. Is it bad to wash jeans so often?

Anyways, I don't wash them but I know they get washed inside out and are air-dried. Unless I want to shrink them.

i don't wash my jeans unless they have stains or are really dirty/smelly. i usually just air dry them.
but i do own a few beater jeans (e.g. from old navy, polo) for days where i know i'm going to get them dirty. those i wash whenever~~

I wash mine about once a week. Jeans that sag a little I wash at home inside out, ones that are still tight I dry clean so they dont shrink.

I thought I was the only one that rarely washed my jeans . I wash mine whenever they get crap on it or lif they look "dirty". There is one pair that fits bitter after it's been washed so that one gets in the washing machine pretty often .
