Paul Weller has a really sharp white jacket on the cover of his new album. It looks like the one Chris Martin is always wearing, but in white.

I've done several web/ebay searches for military jackets, safari jackets, khaki jackets etc, but have come back with nowt.

Anyone know if any designers or brands make 'em, or if you have to get them from exceptionally well stocked military surplus shops?

Yeah the only military jackets you'll find on ebay are those navy blue and red ones with the gold buttons just like the one worn by Julian Casablancas (sp?) etc There's not alot on offer.

Is this it? It looks like a fairly basic shape but it's pretty rare to get military jackets in white.

safari jackets are an absolute essental for men this summer. Go to YSL rive gauche for their updated 70's classic version (£500 for cotton and about double for suede)or do as i did and get the one from Bottega Veneta (bargain at £550).

if you're in london try lawrence corner on hampstead road for the authetic military jacket.

Weller is getting to be an old duffer, but still tops any of the young blood

This site was alright for some general safari jackets.

But as usual the women have a much better selection.
