Push-Up Bras

Lately I've been wanting a little bit of a push up there... Starlets like Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Simpson have been my inspiration, if you will. I'm not talking tacky... but just a little something to show they're there... since I can't afford beautiful corsets from Dolce & Gabanna.

Does anybody know of any fantastic push-up bras? I have basically just one, it's a gel one from Victoria's Secret with double straps. It does the trick, but doesn't raise them like I had hoped... I'm not even looking to make my breasts look bigger... but rather.. just higher... sounds scary, doesn't it? I just want that bombshell look once a month when I get dressed up for the lounges.

Agent Provacateur. I was originally slightly too big from this gorgeous demicup bra I had from them so i sort of 'spilled out' so to speak and I never wore it. Now i'm slightly smaller and fit into it better and it's exactly what you want because it basically makes your chest sit higher. It's gorgeous. I can't remember if I got it or the other one on sale. I paid about £70 for it fullprice or else got it for £40 on sale. And it's not padded. Just cut really well.

haha no probs Erin. I've been there!

edit: Also it's satin so clothes go over it really well. I hate lace bra's and ones that have seeming and stuff all over them because if you wear a tight/close fitting shirt you can see all that through the shirt. This does not have that.

i don't wear them because they always seem to have padding that causes a whole bunch of spillage or whatever you want to call it.. they look great when i'm wearing just the bra but once i throw a shirt on over it it's not pretty...

i was at victoria's secret trying on a whole bunch of bras a couple weeks ago so i guess this fact was brought up for me again..

it could be that my boobs just aren't meant for victoria's secret bras (i do have some that fit really well but they tend to be the full coverage versions aka practical but not sexy) and if i wear a lower cut top the cups may even peak out--DEFINITELY not cute

and i'm a 34-C so it's not like I'm some crazy bra size...

anyway, a nice push-up or demi-cup with no padding that doesn't look like it's trying to put a dent in my boob would be a great find

^ I know VS has some non-padded push-ups... and it's funny that you mention the sizing. The only bras that FEEL good and seem like they fit perfectly are their Full Coverage ones.

^^exactly... i had actually bought a certain bra in a 34-C but then i took it home and it just didn't seem to fit right... seemed too narrow so that there was side spillage of sorts..

i went back and tried the same bra in a 36-C to see if that would fix the issue but the weird thing about it was that it seemed like it was the CUP size that got bigger.. i had my mother come take a look so i would know i wasn't hallucinating and it definitely looked like a D-cup, meaning way too big/overwhelming for my boobs

i think victoria's secret just might not be for me when it comes to anything that's not full coverage.. which is unfortunate because they have so many pretty bras...

The I-tec (i'm pretty sure that's the name) from victorias secret/la senza is wonderful! the most comfortable thing i've ever worn and it gives just enough lift without losing shape.

What about Le Mystere Nikita? It seems to push everything into the right spot. I got mine from Saks.

I found a good one at Target for under $15-I'm lucky in that there I can find a push-up bra that fits well. I'm the kind of person who a lot of people say wouldn't need one-I'm a 36D-but I like everything to look good and it's fairly comfortable. Only problem is that I spill out a little bit sometimes so I have to adjust, but a push-up bra can be a girl's best friend.

I always use the VS Very Sexy Bra, but I'm sure there are better ones out there
