What stores do you wish were in your town?

H&M - I have never been to one before, and the clothes look trendy and price-friendly.

Neiman Marcus - I only just visited my first Nordstroms yesterday, and even that was orgasmic for the eyes!

Anyone else?
Is there a store you've heard about that's not nearby that you'd love to see?

I would like to see an American Apparel. But I hear it's not that great.

I'm hearing rumours about Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom coming to my area and I'll be ecstatic if it happens. I almost had a heart attack when Louis Vuitton and True Religion came here.

Topshop and Uniqlo. We have almost everything else I think, although a few more independent boutiques wouldn't hurt. Barneys only carries so much

It's about 10 miles to the nearest anthropologie, urban outfitters, american apparel, h&m, etc..not so far, but gas is so expensive these days, i wish they were closer. I also think it'd be cool to have a Topshop here.

I live about 30 miles outside of L.A., so then there are the shops like wasteland on melrose, creature comforts, and the hordes of department stores like saks, bergdorf (i think there is one here..), and neiman. I also wish they were closer.

we don't have any of the european high street shops like h&m or zara, so those would be fun (at least i think so as someone who doesn't get exposed to them very often). i liked topshop but found it a bit overwhelming and i think for the most part there are some shops here in sydney that are roughly equivalent, so i could probably do without that. what is that shop in america that carries lots of different brands, kind of bohemian from memory...anthropologie? and they have homewares too? they had lovely stuff when i visited last. i think that's the right name...

i would also LOVE an isabel marant shop... i wanted a marni shop for the longest time and now we have our very own so i can just go there and drool.

i also really miss club monaco and banana republic from my days in canada. club monaco particularly had some really great things..

I wish we had some outlet stores like Nordstrom Rack or something where I could score mad dealz. Or anything...anything more then what we have. I have to buy most of my things on the internet or go to Vancouver in order to shop. The again, I never see anyone in town wearing what I have, so maybe the extra effort is for the best...
