Does anyone here own or have own the nail polish Le Vernis 165 Organdy from Chanel and can tell me if it looks like that in reality that it does on this pictures? If you don't think so could you give me suggestions of substitutes?
I actually bought this last year, and it is a very nice shade of pink. For the most part it looks like it does in the bottle, but a takes at least 2 coats, if not 3.

I really hope it looks like that in reality and not just on the picture. A person on Makeup Alley wrote that it had been discontinued. Does anyone know if that is true? I really hope it haven't. Or does Chanel have it in their basic range of products. The most beautiful pink nail polish that have ever tried is FACE Stockholm Nail Enamel 140. It is imo the most perfect bubblegum/Barbie/light neon pink in the world. I can't imagine a more beautiful pink nail polish.

In the Vogue Paris 2008 calendar, they use some Chanel polishes - and they look like they might be similar (or at least, very nice pinks)
Hipkitten and miu miu: I'm not 100% sure but I don't think that Chanel have discontinued Le Vernis 165 Organdy. There was a reviewer that wrote that on Makeup Alley 4/21/2006. I have visited the Chanel website recently and I have seen that they have that nail polish in their product of range. I just wrote an e-mail to Chanel and asked them that question. Hopefully they'll answer soon. If they answer then I'll of course write their respond here. I would just die if they have discontinued it!

I just got an e-mail from Chanel where they wrote: "LE VERNIS Nail Colour in Organdy is still an active part in our nail collection."
Hopefully they will never discontinue it.

I tried to find it locally today but none of the 4 Chanel counters in my area had it in stock so I was forced to ordered it online. Unfortunately, I'm an instant gratification kind of a gal and am dying to get it
