Best Boots F/W 07.08

I'm thinking of buying the flat black patent Lanvin boots, as there is a pair up on ebay in my size, and these boot really are prefection.
But now getting i'm a bit scared that the patent trend is gonna be over soon. I need some help! What do you guys think i should do??

I've just bought these fire red patent Sergio Rossi boots, they are gorgeous and SO chic! I loved Sergio Rossi's collection and Lanvin's also!

I've seen lots of suede boots this whinter, and still lots of patent boots. I like the look of suede boots but they are very difficult to maintain, patent is much easier to maintain.....
