I'd not heard of brian atwood untill his shoes were recently put up on the saks fifth avenue website. I think they look just as good as manolo or choo. Here are some of my favorites, what does anyone else know about him, like/dislike?
i liked his shoes at first b/c he was a bit different from everyone but kept his style very commercial. now it looks like everyone else's. I really liked his fall 04 collection.
Yeah I dunno Mr. Atwood, was indeed ahead of the lot in the shoe world, but now I just don't know.

Yeah, he used to make pretty cool stuff, but those ones in the first post are so boring.
There was one pair on Vivre.com a while back, black patent leather high-heeled mule with pieces of rock crystal on the strap...so beautiful.

I have been really loving Brian Atwood as well, noticing him more and more. Not everything, but some styles I find really unique. The photos someone posted from the Fall 04 collection. I have the mary jane with the double criss-cross straps and it is so unique and fun in red patent! Also, the crystal ones in the first post look absolutely stunning on, despite looking fairly mediocre on their own.
I think he is really coming into his own and will only grow in popularity over the coming years.
The first ones are total Prada knockoffs from last winter. I so wanted the platform ankle boot version of these in black....but sadly it turns out that I'm not made of money
