Thanks

Thanks Aspen! The insole for 6.5 measures just shy of 9.5 inches, so that's pretty true to size....I think I'm going with 6.5. I'm buying it!!! (Round ones). I just need to get my paycheck! HAHA! Thanks everyone!

i was wondering if anyone could help me on the sizing for more dressy sandal type louboutins, particularly the 15 minute model.

i usually wear a 39.5 and was wondering whether it would be wise to go up a size?

Hello
It's kinda difficult to detemine the sizing. I wear 38.5 and 39 for Jimmy Choo sandals and slingbacks, 38.5 and 39 for manolo, so I guess I'm a US 8.5. For louboutin,
- yoyo zeppa (suede ones), both 38 and 38.5 goes fine with me.
- helmut, 38.5 (but it's a bit loose for me cause it's too long)
- DECOLTISSIMO, 38.5
Cheers

SIZING:

please help; I used to wear sz40 Louboutins -- fitted perfectly -- but starting with the 2004 YoYo's he seems to have changed his lasts, and for the YoYo I needed a 40.5. Yet for the Salobat I took a sz40. Then came "Simple Pump" and again I needed a 40.5. So: what size should I ask for for (1) Gwenissima (assuming I can find one) and (2) Miss Marple? Please help, as I can only buy online or by phone (because I do not live near NYC or any other CL boutique).....

My experience with louboutins has been that I needed to go up a half size from what I normally wear. I am normally a size 41 but louboutins I have found to be more narrow than other designers so a 41.5 is more comfortable for me. Maybe the smaller sizes fit differently. With the round toes however, I've been told they are more true to size so no size up needed. The sandals I believe also run true to size. It's more the pointy toe pumps or open toe styles that tend to run small in my experience.

Leyla -

I have the yoyo zeppa slings w/o the platform in patent. I went up a 1/2 size on these. I could have gone up a full size though.

Good Luck with these!

Since you wear a 38.5 in the Very Prive which is a 1/2 size small, I assume that your general shoe size is a 38. In that case, get the 38.5. Hope this helps!

leyla, I have the suede Very Prives in a 37 and they're too big for me. I normally wear a 37 in most shoes. I had these on preorder for months so I'm keeping them! I had to put two Dr Scholls heel liners in them to make them not fall off my feet when I walk. Maybe it's just the suede that run big?
