There was a similar Chanel pair in Elle recently, but like with the boots above are more than I can spend! Can't explain it, but I'm mad for that heel!

Yeah, as SpaceMiu mentioned, Helmut Lang has a very similar pair in the Fall 2003 collection. The ankle boots retail for about $500+, I think. I them and must have them. irate: I don't normally wear ankle boots with skirts but I think this pair will look very new with short skirts and opaque tights like they were shown on the runway.
I haven't seen anything else similar. Let us know if you find a pair, Kiki.

KikiB1, I just got a pair of fairly narrow heeled wedge black Diesel boots from my local Colorado Nordstrom's for approx. $100. The toe kinda curls up (elfin) and I'm still breaking 'em in. I looked on the web and found in --> here. (Mine are all black ] The style is "Cake."
Some of those Versaces posted above are, well, *sigh* dreamy.
