Italy. They make wonderful shoes. They are a bit on the rugged/slightly distressed side though, so I'm not sure if you'll like them a lot for your personal style. The closest brand I can think in relation is Collection Privee. I've been trying to find their website for ages, but I don't think they have one.

Call Gimmieshoes in San Francisco, or Otto Tootsi Plohound in New York. There are also several pairs on yoox.com, I just bought a pair today.

Hmmm, never seen anything but the shoes in stores, but I'd be curious to see a picture.
does anyone know where i could get a list of stockists or contact the company in some way? NAP isn't going to be carrying the boots I want in the color I want and I want to see if a.it comes in the color I want (black of all things) and b.who stocks it here in London....
