I'm thinking these are the kind of 'have flats in handbag-just in case' kind of shoes. I have shoes which I can only wear when I KNOW I'm 100% getting a ride from someone or taking a cab - these would be those kind of shoes...

True Susie, I always need a pair of flats in my bag when walking in high heels in London.

Hmm...the lalo looks better than the bruges in prettyshoegal's picture...I think they'll be fine on New York street...I see people wearing sky high heels all the time in the city

at first i liked the nude ones...

but now i'm thinking the blk patent look good...
the blk lthr isn't bad either...

still mulling it over....

**it's not the height of the heeel that concerns me...
it is the inflexibility of a platform...
one's foot cannot bend properly to take a step in a stiff platform...
so the effect is similar to walking on stilts...

but they look kinda cute, you know?......
i just don't think it would be bery cute if you can't walk properly in them...

I saw them at Steve Madden in Las Vegas. I tried on the tan ones...they run large.

prettyshoegal -- The lalo look just like the zeppas except for the stacked platform. I've never seen those but they are very pretty

soft -- I have the black suede yoyo zeppa's (they didn't have patent ) and they really aren't that bad to walk in.

I might be biased because I love everything black patent this season.. :P

Ive got some platform ankle boots, and they are much more comfortable than ordinary heels.

I want to purchase the black patent one's would looks so nice with an all-white look for summer, i think.

Could enyoe tell me what an US size 5.5 convert into european size?

prettyshoegal how do you find the sizing? (hoping they run small)

If you look at the picture in post #12, the left shoe (Yoyo Zeppa) shows a lot of "toe spring", in which the platform is curved upward from the ball of the foot to the toe. This gives you the same "walk" as a flexible-soled shoe does when your toes bend backward as you move forward. Helps a lot on rough or hot pavements, too!

pucci -- I found that the yoyo zeppas run true to size, but are pretty narrow. I had to get a half size up becuase I have wide feet and then get that padded.

In most Louboutins, I usually wear a 41 (the Bruges for example) and bought the 9.5 in the Lalos, which is about a half size smaller than my normal US 10. HTH!

They have similar ones at Nine west as well.

Softie, get them! I like them in black or the nude.
