toohaute, I think it all boils down to proportion, if your legs are relatively long it should be fine.
Since you sound unsure, it would be best to try the boots on IRL, or purchase it from a website with a return policy before you commit.
If it helps I am not that much taller (5'4") and I own a few pairs of OTK boots.
