Have you gained weight? I know that when I went from a size 10 jeans to a size 1/2 I also went down in shoe size. Almost 1.5 sizes.

Celine, I haven't gained one pound!! That's the scary part. I am the same height, same weight and everything. The only major life change is that I got married 1 1/2 years ago and when my mom got married her shoe size jumped from a 7 to a 9.5. So maybe it's in the genes.

Be thankful for small favors

It's taken me decades to get my shoe closet stocked with great heels. I'm just glad I wear an 11. At least you can find some real heels - not the plastic pvc tranny shoes they hawk on the internet. And thank heavens for EBay! Http://PassionsforFootwear.com

jimmy choo's in up to size "twelve"

on the website www.net-a-porter.com all the jimmy choos are available up to size fourty two. I find that they run small though, so they would probably really fit a us size eleven or eleven and one half

Neat. It's rare for me to find a heel site I didn't already know about. Thanks!

Ann Demeulemeester's footwear goes up to a 41, and it always runs quite big.

but Models are tall so they have big feet around size 9-11 at least, so there is bound to be large shoes/ heels on runways? or do these tall girls have small feet

Very seriously, this is the best way to find out where the big shoes are--ask the right guys. Karen Hughes (presidential adviser here) shops in a place that caters to guys in Austin.

They run pretty true in my experience, although you might want to avoid or size up 1/2 in square toes.

Since high school, my feet have gradually grown an entire size.
