I second the La Canadienne suggestion
I just ordered my first pair of them, and am in love. They are pretty comfortable, waterproof, and keep my legs very warm.
They are the "Blanche" style (black patent leather) and I got them from Zappos..

from Madewell...you can order them by calling the number on their website (
www.madewell1937.com
)
they have fuzzy shearling, which makes them yummy

I third the La Canadienne boots. I love La Canadienne boots. They are really the most stylish of warm winter boots I have ever seen/had.
