Warmest boots please (not Uggs)

I have seena couple of decent boots which I think are reasonably priced. I want warmth, comfort and style.

1 - Mukluks £182

2 - Fabi boots £128

3 - Fabi (probably not as comfy but I think the best?)

Please tell me which you prefer as I respect the opinions of you guys.

yes. Mukluks really aren't good for super heavy snow because they will get sodden. J Crew has some cute proper winter boots I'm thinking of getting.....

'Canadian Boots' they are definately the warmest, but tend to be heavy and not all that stylish..

You can find them in hunting gear stores

You can have light versions of the Canadian boots - I have these from Sorel, they are very light and very warm. Not very beautiful, but definitely the most practical and comfortable boots I have ever had. I use them when no other kinds of footwear would survive the weather and then I bring a nice pair of stilettos to wear inside.

Canadian boots? hahaha! I'm Canadian and we just call them, well, boots... not very pretty, are they? BTW, anything by Sorel is a good bet; so warm, so waterproof, but so ugly...

I think I read somewhere that this kind of boot was invented in Canada - don't remember if it was La Crosse or Sorel. Yes, they are ugly, but imo not more ugly than UGG and SO much more practical.

Noooooooooooooo...so many ugly boots! I wore those "Canadian boots" as a child and never will again!

I'm Canadian (but I live in Toronto so really I don't see the worst winter weather), and I suggest looking into a pair of La Canadienne or Blondo boots, both make some ice-worthy rubber soled boots lined in soft fuzzy stuff that will keep your feet warm and as a bonus they actually look nice.

I think most Canadians my age tend to try and get away from Sorel's because of their childhood memories of them! I had purple ones, black ones, white ones, etc. etc.

i have the last pair that you posted but in black. they've gotten me through some massive montreal ice puddles. they're warm, comfy, waterproof and very durable. they're also pretty good lookin' well worth the price imo

Sweet! Yeah, I was so glad the other day when everything turned to slush in Toronto that I could walk through it and my feet didn't get wet.
