Latex Leggings / Leather pants

I have been seeing this around for a while, quite a few editorials feature letex/pvc leggings worn as jeans.

leather pants were on many catwalks..

Whats your opinion on leather pants? Can it be done right..? Or just tacky?

I think it can be done in a really cool way.. I totally wear them the way mariacarla is wearing them here..

^i love that look, pucci!.

I find leather pants to be..interesting. because they can easily be managed to look skanky but when done properly, they look edgy, and just...fantastic.

Thanks for the wonderful pictures...

Yes, it can easily look skanky and wrong.. but I think it can look really cool as well, it's about attitude.. and you have to have the right body as well, I mean I can't imagine this looking good on everyone!

But that's what makin this fun..

I'm lusting after some latex leggings.. really trying to convince myself to do it!

^Pucci.... can I jump on the latex leggings bandwagon with you?

I'm kinda loving this look too...I'm thinking maybe JUST maybe I can pull it off...........but I may have to work out my gams a bit more........ I dunno.......am I thinking crazy thoughts here?

I'd wear them with chunky heeled boots or delicate flats and a simple grey v-neck sweater. Or perhaps layered under a wool dress..... I think I'll propose this on my blog and see what reaction I get!

YES!! Please do so Susie! We can start the trend in london. or look like fashion victims, at least we can be in it together!

I have to work a bit more on my legs as well..even though i'm quite skinny, the latex is really going to reveal it all. I love the thought of mixing different textures and materials of black together, like latex leggings then a big wool cape.. maybe some patent flats.

YES!!..

I'm going to order some.. and see how they look on me..

I love the look on Julia Roitfeld, and she's not stick thin, I think it looks fab!

The only think I'm concerned about.. is if they will make a funny noise when you walk?

I'm thinking of getting these ones from Murray & Vern or maybe the Atsuko Kudo stockings.....hmmm....

I think I will be getting the Atsuko Kudo pvc leggings, they are quite pricey though.. I've emailed them and they told me the price was £132..

For people that don't know what it is you can order them from this website:

www.atsukokudo.com

I'm just thinking I'm wearing skinnies at the moment which are basically leggings (that's how tight they are), there wont be that much difference between that and latex leggings...right?

I want to know what people that are against this trend thinks..

^Yes...they are rather pricy
...also, they're the kind of things I would need to try before I buy.....but it's a bit cringey going into fetish stores and looking for PVC leggings.... ah I dunno....I might just order them and see how they pan out....

I know susie!!! The thought of going into a sex shop... One of the main reason I did not get the last winter..

Apparently since I'm a size 6, i need to have them tailored so they suggested I come in and get measured to get the correct "fit" I was like: huh?

I might just order some, and if they don't fit OR make an awful noise.. just return them..

I love the look of them when done right! It kinda reminds me of the Chanel thigh high boots, which I love as well. The leather looks great slouchy.

Here are the Chanel boots on Bianca Balti for comparison.

BTW, those latex stockings are to die for!!
