Well, I think some looks very chic n sexy. Yes, no stiletto please, flat or only a little heel. I still can't understand how can you walk and sit in them, since you have to bent your knees..... you know?

I LOVE thigh-high boots. Or any boots that go over the knee. Knees are so ugly imo

Thigh-high boots/socks

I've noticed heaps of this around in fashion shoots and a bit on runways and I love this trend. What do you all think?
They look great on models and in shoots, but what I'm wondering is how do you wear them as a day to day thing?

Not very comfortably in the case of socks... I do have two pairs of thigh-high boots that I wear, usually with something not overtly sexy so I don't look like a street walker.

Most people will immediately say that thigh-high boots are exclusively for exotic dancers and hookers. Maybe once in my life have I came across someone who had on thigh-high boots. Thing is, she was a short girl in my 9th Grade Speech class. She was wearing a long dress with these boots, though. So it wasn't like this little lady was parading around in these around my high school. Now on to thigh-high socks. First off, I welcome socks or stockings. We need some relief from the ladies who feel required to wear leggings under skirts and dresses. Thigh-high socks don't seem very stylish. Footwear above the knees doesn't sound very nice to me.

The only kind of accesories that should extend above the knees are stockings and ONLY stockings. No thigh-high garments of any kind for me.

They can be wear with leggings, tunic dresses... or it may be easier to treat them like leggings and coordinate the rest of your outfit accordingly.
