i don't think Belén is very well known outside of Spain... she would be most known for starring opposite Javier Bardem in
Mar Adentro (the sea inside). that is where i first saw her and i fell instantly in love with her...
she is magnetic on screen....so authentic... one of those women you watch even if she's in the background of the scene where you're supposed to be concentrating on someone else...
she just has that pull, i think.... at least i feel it when she's on screen... you can see her mind ticking...
she also recently starred in
The Orphanage which audiences outside of Spain would probably recognise..
she was mainly a TV presenter and actress, i think, until
Mar Adentro....in fact i think she still stars in a TV show in spain?...maybe some of our spanish members can fill us in...
anyhow i adore her....i also think she is incredibly beautiful...
