KEIRA KNIGHTLEY is the new face of Asprey. The gorgeous 18-year-old star of Pirates of the Caribbean and Bend It Like Beckham, who claimed recently that she can't get a date, posed for Bruce Weber for the jeweller's autumn/winter 2003 campaign, due to break in magazines in November. And having starred alongside Johnny Depp in Pirates and Liam Neeson in Love Actually, Knightley will continue her star strike with Asprey by joining Joseph Fiennes and a host of other celebrity models and socialites in the ads. "I am flattered to be associated with Asprey, the most distinguished British luxury house," she said yesterday. "It is such an incredible time for the brand in the run-up to its re-launch." The new campaign will coincide with the opening of Asprey's new flagship stores in London and New York and the unveiling of a new look that has been developed by a 40-strong design team headed up by Hussein Chalayan, Thierry de Baschmakoff and Alessandra Gradi. "We are thrilled to have Keira Knightley as the face of Asprey," said Bianluca Brozzetti, CEO of A&G Group. "This advertising campaign will be the first we have done that truly reflects the global luxury lifestyle of Asprey, and I cannot think of anyone more appropriate to represent us than Keira. Her beauty and style complement the new world of Asprey perfectly."
OMG she's so young for this
she will be minted if the deal goes through......
what really annoys me about her is the fact that in every interview she did about pirates of the carribean she always said 'its a hard job, but someone's gotta do it'
Only time I've seen her was in The Pirates of the Carribean, I though she was pretty in a clean, wholesome, girl next door kind of way. I did find her constant pouting throughout the movie distractingly annoying.

there, there, belowen, I completely understand.
but I do think she's perfect for asprey, because her mannerisms, looks and accent epitomise asprey. she reminds me of the polo set at my uni - the girls who are beautiful, rich, public school-bred and the girlfriends of old etonians.

That's not the proper I was brought up with. And if that's posh - count me out.
