Its a great idea, but Women is so close, or already, bankrupt.... Its a far too delicate time with all the lawsuits going around to be starting a new million dollar modeling contest...
If anyone is seriously interested in modeling, there are posts about it in and around the forum.
We're doing a special piece on Select and have come up with a list of male models we wish to do interviews with, they have agreed and it seems like a good idea to ask around for those who wish to ask them questions too:
James Rousseau
Jamie Strachan
David Serpell
Dominic Brider
Chris Walters
James Heathcote
and Paul Sculfor
We can only make a good piece if viewers participate and contribute, if you got scans of images of these guys, please help us and send them.

That's actually not true. Women is doing fine despite the departures of a lot of top girls. Some of the new girls are really amazing (including myself! ) and I've never had a problem getting my check. Also, Women wasn't really involved in the big lawsuit fiasco.
I always wondered how the South African market worked. Who gets the most work? (white, black, multi-racial) and how do most SA models make their $$$? (catalogue, adverts, show season?)

now that you mention it,she does actually i wonder why she hasnt yet hit the intl market with that alien look
as for making money i hear their industry is still racially divided with the white models still having the upper hand since their appartheid background has ensured the the whites are more wealthy than the blacks
Stillstuff is picking up and at the moment some of their top models are black
I think most money comes from commercial work but they have a fairly active industry so fashion shows, ads , catalogues etc also0 make them some money
