Donna Karan is the latest designer to expand into a full range of handbags. There was preview of one of the bags - the Leo - in the latest Vogue. It seems all the bags will be named after an astrological sign which is a bit hokey but very fitting somehow.

I think it looks nice in the croc but I can't think of a single bag that doesn't look instantly appealing in croc. I'll be interested in seeing the leather version.

Has anyone seen these bags in real life? I saw magazine pics of the Libra bag which has an equestrian feel that I love. I wonder how it looks in real life though - often the bags look much better in pics but worse in reality or vice versa! Also, they have quite hefty price tags too, no? Around €3000 for the Libra?

Convertible straps might be appropriate for the Gemini ... or maybe two bags that could be decoupled? Like an evening clutch that could be docked/undocked from the day bag ...

I saw this on the Donna Karan website....I find myself really liking this one.
It's unusual and I love the exposed zippers and barnacle/pom pom things on it.
It strange and ugly and cool and outstanding all the the same time, but in a good way. (at least to me)
It's called the Evening Star Loop Pouch and it's suede.
