^ But isn't that a good thing?

Nothing more irritating from where I sit than a designer who speaks your language one season ... and a few seasons later features Posh in his ad campaign

yea .. i was thinking they seem to be evolving into a new colour palette.. darker.. and distressed metallics ...

no more that traditional & clean plaid feel maybe

so in a way, it's a new direction

It can be a good thing, I agree with you.

It's just that here it seems like one recipe is being prepared over and over again, to a point where it starts to feel lukewarm.

At Burberry Prorsum Christopher Bailey’s resort featured lovely mixes of pattern and texture — overembroidered mesh and lace, jacquard florals, pebbly cottons and silks — worked in mostly sober hues with shots of acid green and some serious metal sightings. “There’s a bit of Nancy Spungen, aggressive and punk,” Bailey said, “but still subdued and romantic.”

"pebbly cotton" sounds nice ..

gill88
maybe youd like to upload them to another server ?
like photobucket or flickr
instead of hotlinking directly from wwd... because they might erase the images in time and they'll all be lost

I am kind of tired of the same-belt-with-every-look thing. It just looks old to me now.

When did socks with high heels become okay? Did I miss that memo cause he's been doing that look for a couple seasons now and I don't see how wearing socks with your clunky Burberry platforms is any different than wearing socks with your beaten up Birkenstocks.

They both look horrendous.

It's kind of getting to the point where I don't see why anyone would need to buy anything from Prorsum. They're the same pieces done over and over again, with the same styling flourishes. What about these clothes screams "you need to run out and spend $1200 on me"?

i want all of it , i think socks and heels can be sexy , but you have to have the personality to carry it otherwise , you do look like a mental patient or a tart .

^ I agree...socks with heels can be pulled off but not everyone can execute the look flawlessly.
I actually really like this collection. I love how Burberry makes everything look Rock and Roll without sacrificing femininity...
