I second that . While PMA (Paulo) wasnt to my liking as a designer , his stuff was youthful and provoking , this resort collection is VERY boring , its GAP circa 1985. If this is a hint of things to come , I highly suggest the CEO of Chloe go on both knees and beg Phoebe Philo to come back .

i think so too..
esp the size of those scalloped hems..

they make me think of these set of cheap craft scissors i got
they cut decorative edges.. zigzags, cloud shapes, etc. on paper
exactly that --"cheap easy crafts"
i sort of hope i don't see this in the women's main collection

i don't think this is that great at all...

yes some details are cute..(scalloping) but it's like as basic and boring as say an Erin Fetherston for Target collection, the shapes are also so matronly- i could get this out of a Burda sewing catalogue..

Leopard print at Chloe? Why oh why?

This Resort is pretty miserable. Its either too reminiscent of what Philo did or its trying too hard to be 'different' ie. the tacky leopard print coat

I can't see the pictures?

Why did Paolo quit? I loved his stuff. Specially S/S 08 - SO stunning, with those beautiful dresses! And the bags .. I can't even explain the bags!

^ I don't believe he quit, but his vision wasn't exactly what was wanted of Chloe I suppose. Anyway I'm not sure how I feel about this collection, the second to last outfit seems to matronly? I do like the high waist shorts and the cuts along the hem of the skirts and dress, but overall it's nothing too special for me.

Thank you for the images! I'm not in love with the collection at all...I agree it's so matronly and not special. I guess the light yellow dress is nice but thats all
