No surprise that Hannah MacGibbon's aesthetic is by far more along the lines of Phoebe Philo than Paulo Melim Andersson. It's a welcome return to Chloé's quirky ladylike panache... but I honestly kind of miss PMA's harder, more futuristic edge.

The waves give a quirky different look. Polka dots, soft and delicate color palette contrasting with black, "a sort of hiding and playing in mom's wardrobe" (but not in the Lanvin resort way. Lanvin captures a different mood than Chloé), everything is crying youth which is the essence of Chloé in my opinion.
It looks old, not in the vintage sense but the look of it is very "woman of a certain age in ugly pants".
It's especially strange that it looks kind of mumsy given that the Chloe girl is young, trendy and playful.

^^too much!
i liked how PMA had reinterpreted the chloe look... going back to phoebe, under the direction of another designer, doesnt seem such a good idea.
the model looks young and innocent, but the styling ages her horribly!
