I agree with whomever stated that it looks frumpy. The only outfit I like is the last girl's. Maybe they are styled on the wrong person but eh... I do like the gingham pants. I like gingham; I like pants.
The highly anticipated collaboration between Chloë Sevigny and New York-based fashion brand/concept boutique, Opening Ceremony is finally about to debut. And here are some pictures from the look book. The collection reflects Sevigny’s (actress/fashion icon) style. Pieces will include: floral grunge dresses, mini- and knee-length skirts, backless cardigans and sleeveless button-down shirts, amongst others. The collaboration will also include an accessories collection.
The collection will debut sometime this January in the Opening Ceremony stores in New York and Los Angeles. Colette in Paris, will be one of the few international retailers.
I actually didn't like the collab with Linda Farrow for Opening Ceremony. They all just looked like wayfarers to me. Maybe if she had released it two years ago but today, it's pointless.
I'd be interested in seeing bigger pictures of the rest of the collection. And pucci - surely it's only going to be carried at Opening Ceremony in NYC? Are there any UK stockists for Opening Ceremony?
I love Chloe's clothes, but I don't like the clothing in the video. The real problem here is that unless you're a size 2, leggy, and very glam, I think there's a high potential to just look frumpy and unkempt in these duds.
I think only a certain type of woman can pull these off...I don't want to see this on what people in the US see as the "average" body type.
