Perfect, I love it all, the mix of textures is amazing! I actually dont mind the all black, I dont think the looks would have worked half as well with any other colour put in aswell..

What I like is how she interpreted the midriff trend for spring-it wasn't just a bandeau top, although we did see some of those. Be it the cutouts with sheer materials overlaid, the honeycomb pattern with the portions cut out, or what, it was definitely one of the best ways I have seen it done.

I was "hoping" to see a collection that might be a bit more colorful for spring...but her men's collection from Spring 09 gave me a hint of an indication of what would be expected...LOTS of black. Rei named this collection "Tomorrow's Black". It's definitely an appropriate title??

I've loved Comme Des Garcons for a VERY long time. I've been watch her since the early 1980's. I've always appreciated her constructions and her aesthetics...but this particular collection is a MAJOR disappointment. I never pay attention the the headwear from either her or Junya Watanabe, to me...it's not very often I see anyone wearing anything aside from a baseball hat...or, for the stylisly brave...a cute fedora hat....but these headresses are just another way of Rei interpreting the collection. I highly doubt they're meant to be taken seriously.

Again..the construction IS amazing....but it's certainly not inspiring to me..AT ALL. It looks like a collection that a soccer-team would have to conjure up and create if they were televised on Project Runway, given a pair of sciccors, and forced to re-design their standard uniforms in an avant-garde assignment.

The double-breasted sportcoats are palpable....but certainly not desireable to me. Rei has done much better collections han this one...and to me...it's a HUGE nightmare. As far as soccer is concerned...she definitely lost the game....YUCK!!

I'm feeling so stupid right now because I thought that TAO Comme des Garçons was the same thing of Comme des Garçons...
Now i'm seeing that it's like Marc by Marc Jacobs and Marc Jacobs...
I don't like this collection though.

I had the same confusion as well and was wondering when Rei herself is showing. Anyway, the clothes!! This is insane. I don't even know where to begin.

I think my heart just dropped a little bit. An entire runway presentation of beautiful black sculptures!! I think this is the most excited I've felt all throughout fashion week.
