This is major .
This is an example where wearability is irrelevant because the artistry itself is potent.

Insane! This is really beautiful. I'm just trying to imagine some of our own members trying this on next season.

i want to know what the tricot collection looks like...
because i can't wear any of this stuff and i am sure that TRICOT will be much more accessible...but they never have a show for that anymore...

* for those who are confused...
please search for our thread on 'the comme des garcons universe'...
it explains it all there...
rei and tao are two entirely different people/designers...
two completely different collections....

junya watanabe for CDG is also part of the CDG universe...
it's all explained there..

Where on the planet other than Iceland can you wear a winter collection in summer?
You're right, this is no summer collection, but then her summer collections have always been like this, lost of layering and texture. I also wish she'd tried to bring in some colour, could have made her painstakingly sewn together pieces more stunning with the variations.

I'm really pleased she's tried something entirely new for her, i.e. geometrical textures instead of her usual frills. A lot of it work, just gorgeous, she really knows her construction skills, with a few badly sewn pieces like Mutterlein mentioned which could have been edited out. However, unlike Pugh's, this is entirely wearable ergonomically if you'd ignore her head dress, it's loud and theatrical, but that's another thing altogether. I'd love to pick up some pieces myself to mix and match, this is too much worn from top to toe but still, great work from Rei again!

hit and miss

I know wearability is subjective, but really, who can wear most of this

another hit from Rei, the textures and darkness of the collection speak to me in so many levels...Paris never fails to deliver

I love how so many collections for this Spring are dark, but this collection really takes the cake. I think the textures and layering are absolutely exquisite, and I think the honeycomb pattern is ingenious. I am always so pleased to see designers go outside of the confines of what is superficially "wearable" and design to inspire and express. Love

a bit disappointed .....
i like some of the silhouettes, but have to agree on the fact that some of them look like "student project" (god knows it hurts me to say that. because i always found this expression ridiculous ....)

i understand this collection as "sport/entertaining is becoming too much proeminent in our lives .... sport people are our new gods. everybody lives for entertainement. dress as a football ball and you'll catch attention ...."

i find it funny that she used a similar thing for the hair ... than Jeremy Scott
