Beautiful presentation, and lovely shapes. I have been drawing a lot of sphere-shaped pieces lately so it's interesting and exciting to see how these were accomplished.

i think this is the best collection she's done in a few seasons. reminds me of black birds and bees in the darkness of night.

I like it and especially that it have so much structures. But in general I find Rei´s collections more appealing, if they have a wider color palette. It then feels kind of 'more' for me - don´t know how i can describe it. For example i mean the collections in the late 90's and also the 08 S/S womens collection with its burst of colour, which i cannot stop looking at.

it's very exciting... I'd say we really need some detail shots though to appreciate it fully..

i love shows that just have so many things to look at in every look... amazing hidden details you discover long after you first saw it.... i wonder if it's too much for the eye if you see it irl.
it's a delight to watch it home in HQs... i guess everything has it's advantages

It looks good, but the hair distracts me a lot.
I love what Margiela did this season with the whole face cover-up.

* for those who are confused...
please search for our thread on 'the comme des garcons universe'...
it explains it all there...
rei and tao are two entirely different people/designers...
two completely different collections....

junya watanabe for CDG is also part of the CDG universe...
it's all explained there..

you can see some of tricot in this link though it's not S/S 09.
maybe S/S 08 and this fall
http://www.lacienega.jp/tricotcomme.htm

tricot (by tao) is an important section of the universe financially.
almost the mainstay
while they don't sell it at the flagship somehow

Abso0lutely gorgeous, I love the theme here. iTs like dark, scary and very mysterious. I LOVE the hexagonal dresses and ALL the leather pieces are fantastic! Very well done and well though out, the shapes are so interesting to look at. But they should have been given killer heels.

Marie Antionette crossed with candyfloss hair

I love the honeycomb patterning and the textures just jump off of the screen at me

I don't like the goth-ish vibe here and it's way too dark for summer imo.
But I have to admit it's very interesting! In a good way :P

Sugarcotton wigs .... Ill admit theyre a bit distracting but I love em ... the thing is that at a first glance looks student-y .. the closer you look you realized the feats on the construction ... the honeycomb thing looked like a soccer ball thing for me ... still .. the short/cocktail-y dresses are VERY nice ... and Im not surprised about the palette for spring .. who wears CDG on the countryside? This IS urban
