I remember seeing a little article on this somewhere, some of the worst mis-pronunciations of designer names by Americans. It was like Wives Saint Lawrent and things along those lines, I swear, you could almost hear the horrible Long Island jap woman accent to go with the names.

All my friends make fun of me when I correct them when they say DE or when they say Dior, Chanel, channel, and nore of others ...they do it to tease me though, but I used to take french, so I have all my designer pronunciation skills sharped at it's best

Me too, and I live in a neighborhood where Haute Couture is pronounced Hawte Catour and you're only as good as your Lewie Vittahn........it's a wonder my family lives in such an uncultured little bubble.
