I agree that Kate is a bigger star and knows a lot about fashion. I have a little more respect for Lauren though because she is enrolled in fashion school and has been interning and working trades shows since she was in high school. I respect anyone who actually attempts to learn the technical end of design and doesn't just claim expertise because they wear designer clothes all the time.
I like Lauren and all, but i wouldn't pay 30 bucks for a Lauren Conrad head scarf or 85 bucks for a boring white tank (buy the way I have an identical one that I bought at Banana Republic 3 years ago). I also would be curious to see what the actual quality is of the materials. She needs to throw in some pieces that are different, unique, and special to peak my interest some more.

Well, at least she took the time to explain it and she's aware that the prices are a bit high compared to other looks.
My problem is that there's nothing really outstanding about her line-it's meh. I could go to my local mall or other websites and find outfits like that.

as far as i'm concerned i don't find the clothes expensive at all!! but i just don't like most of them... from what i've seen on the site, i may be tempted to buy the "Katherine Wrap" in black or navy blue, nothing else..
keep in mind H&M and F21 can make their prices low because they do things in volume and the price per item is really low. I bet her price per item is really high because she doesn't do the volume that other stores do.

I don't think people think that it's too expensive, but too expensive for what it is. I'm sure people here would pay $100 for a dress, but maybe not those dresses which like people have said, can be found all over.

i would pay 100 dollars for a dress, just not any of hers.
theres nothing completly special about her line that i would want to pay that much for..
i can buy any of that anywhere in the mall for half the price probably. lol.
