Not that i'm all about wearing labels on the outside (a la Abercrombie) but there is nothing about the clothes that makes them noticeably different from stuff from F21, H&M, etc. Not that I'd want a big "LC" on the front or something, but a lot of successful brands have some way of marking their product on the outside so people know what brand it is. (ex: the buttons on the sleeves of that dress could have LC engraved, etc.) None of the pieces have detailing - that I can see anyway. And, I totally would spend more than $100 on a top/dress/whatever...as long as it's worth it, which this line is not.

^ i agree. there should be some small detail to show that its her line and such.
and i wouldnt pay that much for anything on her line, its nothing to spectacular.
the pieces remind me a bit of rachel pally, whose fabrics are superior in quality than the rayon/spandex that lauren uses. i have yet to see these in person to make any judgement. but i agree that there is nothing unique to it that would make me buy one at those prices. sorta like mike & chris can charge high prices for their fleece hoodies because they have unique detailing that tells you it's mike & chris (although, f21 has been making cheaper m&c versions lately).
I've seen similar outfits in the Victoria's Secret Catalog for $50 - $80. They should have released this collection on April 1st because this has to be a joke.
