do you know what designers show in Miami, also i wonder if their fashion week contributes to the "sexy" image that Miami has.

i would just love to see some high fashion there to go against the Miami mold.

Something that i noticed about Miami fashion week is that it is some much more laid back. i am not entirely sure if this is because their fashion week is on a much smaller scale than NYC fahsion week for example, but it came off as a little boring and predictiable. it was pretty much exactly what i expected.

on the contrary, some pieces were well done but i think that the presenation says alot as well because one of the major appealing factors of fashion is the theatrics and the presentaion. at the end of the day, they are just clothes but having a clear vision of the story behind it and the inspiration is what gets people talking. also, the vibe i get from their fashion week is minimal to a fault.

i was surprised by how "beachy" it was. even in the evening wear, there was a tropical kind of image in my head.

like someone said the presentation is rather boring. Its not something you would expect from a major American city the models, set, lighting are too predictable. There are some few nice clothes though
