That first dress is beyond anonymous looking. It could be anybody's design and it looks like something women have been wearing for a while already. A shame, since the color is really pretty.

The second look is pretty cute, and I haven't liked knee-high socks since Clueless came out in 1995, so convinve me that they look cool as a styling trick is quite a feat.

I have to see more before making a final judgment, but so far it looks like it won't be as good as last year's resort collection was.

I saw the rest of the collection , on wwd , its dull and pathetic , the clothes are something I would see on a sales rack at Dillards or Macys in the older womens section .

Olivier Theyskens lightened things up at Nina Ricci for resort, from thelineup of romantic and airy dresses — including a white tiered stunner withoh-so-delicate hem embroidery — right down to chic sheer tulle boots.

I don't know...this collection is pretty, to quote Spike, anonymous. Sure the gowns look Theyskens, but everything else looks like NY fashion week.

I'm really disappointed with Theyskens recently. I've pretty much disliked every collection of his for the house post FW 07. I'm beginning to think that FW 07 was a sublime fluke...

Yeah I'm disappointed as well. And I agree quite anonymous. When looking tru the collection at style.com at had to double check if I was indeed looking at Nina Ricci..

I really don't know what to make of this. There are just a lot of things about it that rub me the wrong way so to speak. The colors are a bit mumsy, as are the prints. A lot of the shapes aren't quite tailored, but they aren't really soft either, they're just kind of.....sack-like.

And for some reason, his recent pants suck. Plain old suck. Baggy crotches and tapering hems? Here's a clue, if it looks hideous on a six foot tall giraffe then it's gonna look hideous on everybody else.

Most pieces are quite nice, but one expects better things out of Theyskens.

Yeah, mumsy is probably the right word.. Some of the colors I really don't mind. I like the yellow and off white and khaki is good in my book as well. But here it's just...

I do like the off-white 'satin' suit though . But that's it..
