Love this collection! I like that he used both a variety of bright colors and the more neutral colors too like brown and black. Its all typical OdlR but its great.
PRETTY GOOD collection. I'm happy with it. I would say it has surprised me, because we're talking about a cruise collection and they are not usually as good as rtw ones.
The siluete is very 50`s, very new look. It drinks from 47's ss Dior collection, the dresses shows of the waist. Very colorful and summery.
An speciall metion for the little black dresses. Very well, I've liked most of them. The cloths seems a high quality.
Wide trousers, high hips, very american look, very urban and I think it was elegant! Shoes look nice. Nothing new, but I don't mind because if I'm looking for new things I would think of other designers...
As I said OdlR is a style more than changes...
I dind't like the way models walked, neither the settig.
So Oscar, so feminine and so beautiful. Oscar greeted his guests with the words:
"You always want to make something that women instantly fall in love with",
and I am completely in love...
Galliano wasn't even close...

Reason: spelling
i think it's what Galliano was going for but missed by a long shot
Indeed
Love this. It's bright, but not aggressive, it's playful but not tacky and the make up is as gorgeous as the clothes are.
Must be the first OdlR-collection I really adore.
incredible!! this is the first time ever (and i wish it was the only one) that i can actually say I LIKE an Oscar de la Renta collection.
not so evidently bourgeois as it is d'habitude, a lot more focused... much much better than any other collection!
maybe it's jsut because i come, just like most of us, from seeing the Dior collection (needless to say it was a total miss from Galliano... yet again for too many consecutive seasons)...
the right palette, the right proportion... a little super-sized (too big gowns)... but overall, it was good!
