There is nothing to hate or dislike about Oscar De La Renta and his vision. He has been at the helm of his fashion house since the beginng and it is odvious that he still has total control of the design aspect. Although his clothes looks very youth orientated, he still manages to please the customer base he has; which is what we would call "the ladies who lunch". Lets suppose Christian Dior or Cristobal Balenciaga where still a live and designing for their houses, wouldnt you expect for their designs to be very focused with which ever style they are known for? Dior and Balenciaga would still be designing the same way since day one. Oscar De La Rentas design asthetics wont change until he decides hes done. De La renta is one of the last remaing great designers the fashion industry has to offer.
