Who said anything about H&M?

I agree, of course, A.P.C. is miles better in terms of fit, and they also tend to use really durable fabrics, so stuff lasts for ages.

But their mission is really the complete opposite of H&M so I don't see why anyone would compare them.

A lot of it is made in Tunisia.

I don't think I would wear anything from the men's line.

I think the stylist did a great job! If a little on the mild side, but the overall palette and outfits remain basic without being dull--playing with layers slightly without piling the clothes on, the rustic orange/brown/autumnal shade is gorgeous! It has recycled popular looks re:babydoll dress & owl necklace, stockings & shorts but overall, the image of its collection is nice and cohesive. Conveying everyday accessible clothes is a bonus for me, I've gotten a lot of little ideas from it.

lol I've spent the entirety complimenting the stylist but I rather giddy about it (could it be the coffee? har har). Also further bonus of the layout of the site. It irks me when websites overuse Flash to show how fancy they are. Simplicity please!

APC is a french label. Their clothes are usually made in eastern European countries, shoes in spain, however the jeans are now made in Macao I believe. The quality is pretty spot on, like others have said very durable. The prices have gone up considerably however there is always a few great items each season. H&M doesn't even come close to the fit, design, and quality of APC.

These clothes are best seen on the SA's in the store. They all wear it so well, you see then how interesting/nice these peices are. Ignore the catalog photos. I can't imagine ordering APC from a catalog, it's something you really need to try on, for me at least.

Some people like simple and quiet, myself included. You can call me boring, but that's what I usually look for I like the clothes

Creatures of Comfort still has some of last season's items on their site. You have to email or call them to check for availability, but everyone there is very nice and helpful.

You could try eBay also. I have found some good deals on there.
