looks like giambasta valli and anne-valerie hash to me. it isn't horrible looking but it still as usual looks extremely derivative of other designers.

This looks crap. no one under 60 would look decent in this . Then again no 60 year old would want to look like this
But its Prada, I mean the woman continues to put out hideous collections, back to back, but is still called a genious
Man, what hype and a brand name can do to people .....
Yes, it doesn't matter if she sends out naked models, anything she does will likely be lauded and genius. Even the shoes are hideous this time around. Normally I love her accessories, but these shoes are awful

However, the bags are the one bright spot.
Agree!
Bags are great, and some of the shoes... But the clothes
I'm still waiting for the complete collection though.
I'm so excited! I haven't liked a Prada show right off the bat for years! I'm so glad she's over that purposefully ugly look she had going on for FW 07 and SS 08...this seems more like the real Prada of 03, 04 and 05...more granny, lady-like chic with intellectual undertones, but ultimately very pretty, yet slightly odd clothes.
THANK YOU MIUCCIA!!!!!!!!!!!
(most of this reminds me very much of Kim Noorda's look at Jean Paul Gaultier HC FW 07...but oviously done in a very Prada way!)

I like the lace concept--can't really appreciate how it's been executed though. I still really want to like this though. And if I don't, I'm sure it'll grow on me....
