I like the cut of the suits. It's menswear so it's pretty blah anyways...

i love the use of movement in the pics. Nice to get a sense of how the clothes flow. Some of this is very basic, which isn't a terrible thing. I would wear a lot of this if I could.

The photos are taken by photographer Marcus Palmqvist who has shoot for Dazed & Confused and Wallpaper among others. Check out www.marcuspalmqvist.com for more pictures.

Rickard's collections, which is hard to tell from the above pictures, are in Sweden known for the unique patterns and the combination between classic tailoring and avant-garde fashion. One of the shirts above is actually cut out of only two pieces of fabric and the knitted plus fours (golf pants) are really unconventional by Scandinavian standards...

I see a lot of resemblance with ACNE Jeans in Lindqvist's designs. Not that it's something negative but it does make you yawn a little since he's not exactly reinventing or bringing something new to the Swedish fashion scene.

Comparing apples and oranges

Homeboy - I suppose that you haven't seen the garments in reality cause when looking closer at them, they show very little resemblance with Acne's deisgns. I have followed Acne almost since the company started doing clothing and I've seen Lindqvist's collections at his press agency for two seasons now. As stated earlier, even if you can't tell from the above pictures, his designs are very unique in a number of ways. The pattern construction, the pocket solutions, the extensive use of darts and gussets, the eccentric knitwear for men are just a few examples of things you usually don't find in most Swedish designers' collections. Even if I haven't seen the A/W collection live I am quite sure that Acne would never do knitted capes, draped t-shirts or golf pants for men.

I am a great fan of Lindqvist's collections (obviously) but also like a lot of what Acne, Hope, Our Leagacy and similar brands are doing just in the same way as I appreciate both Commes des Garcons and Lanvin.

Yeah, I don't see a similarity to acne at all either. I feel he is definitely one of the more distinguished labels in Sweden. Julian Red and Nakkna also stand out from the rest- certainly in a good way.

definitely something to see rather in person
it's so subtle

i like what is happening here though, around the top of the shoes
either it is part of the pants or part of the shoes --a kind of slit opening

thanks for the showing collection corbusier

I've seen his previous works before, so this reads being a lil bit safe, perhaps it might take some detailed shots to change my mind
I quite like the cape, the pattern knit, and the trousers' shapes though
Thanks for posting
