Love Ali's dress. Like a "sunburst" cutout.

It is very different from her usual girlish vibe, some I really love, especially the geometrical sheer layers but some are really awkward. Still, not bad for getting out of her comfort zone and trying something so different!

Her work is generally to intimate to translate to a runway.
Perhaps it will look much better up close?

i agree with helena...not feeling these colours...
but i can't say i'm feeling anything else here either....
i really enjoyed the fall 098/9 collection (the first of her collections i've enjoyed in a long while) ....so i was looking forward to some more good stuff from her for spring 09...
unfortunately this just confuses me...

i also agree with aby--- where it the vanessa bruno we have come to know...?!?

I agree with this. I'm not wowed but the color scheme, but hopefully I'll get to see it in Paris. There's nothing like seeing her stuff in her store.
