I'm being such a downer today but seriously, I saw this yesterday and I couldn't help to think that it was her weakest work to date, I know her collections have been slowly decaying over the past couple years but with the exception of the trousers, I really can't find anything here that makes me literally jump on my seat or puts a smile on my face like her older work use to do.. I feel like I've seen this before, maybe in London, a few times in Milan and all over NYC.. it seems so devoid of any personality or intimate touch, almost shown by obligation.
The cutout pieces are really great, I love them, and most of the looks towards the end.
The first set of pictures eem pretty good to me too, but the middle section of the show seems to be pretty poor..

I find it unnecessarily complicated...
I remember when she used to do really beautiful pieces w/ hidden yet exquisite details...
This is just contrived, messy, and strange, imo...
The shapes, the outfits... very odd... trying too hard...

really don't like the colours - just not me.....but the shapes and drapes are lovely and so feminine.....she goes her own way and I admire that about vanessa bruno....its very lovely as always.....
